Cancellation Policy
The Prop Central – Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to orders and rentals placed through thepropcentral.com or directly with The Prop Central.
1. Cancelling product orders (before shipment)
If you wish to cancel an order for purchased products:
- You may request a cancellation before we have shipped your order.
- Contact us as soon as possible at info@thepropcentral.com with your order number and “Cancellation request” in the subject line.
- If the order has not yet been processed or shipped, we will cancel it and refund the full amount.
If the order has already been shipped, the purchase is treated under our Refund Policy. In that case, shipping costs may not be refundable.
2. Custom, special-order and made-to-order items
Custom props, special orders, or items produced specifically for you cannot be cancelled once production has started or once we have confirmed the order with our supplier, except at our discretion.
In some cases we may offer a partial refund, minus any costs already incurred.
3. Cancelling rentals
For rentals, cancellation terms are often linked to the event date and the time we have reserved the props for you.
Unless otherwise stated in your rental agreement:
- Cancellations more than 30 days before the agreed rental date:
- Full refund of any rental fee paid, minus non-refundable deposits or specific costs already made (if applicable).
- Cancellations 14–30 days before the rental date:
- We may charge up to 50% of the rental fee.
- Cancellations less than 14 days before the rental date:
- Up to 100% of the rental fee may be charged, as the props have been reserved and may not be rentable to others.
Your specific rental quote or agreement may contain different conditions; in that case, those conditions prevail.
4. Cancellations by The Prop Central
We reserve the right to cancel an order or rental in case of:
- Force majeure (for example: natural disasters, strikes, transport issues);
- Safety concerns with the product;
- Pricing or stock errors;
- Non-payment or suspected fraud.
If we cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide a full refund of any amount paid for the cancelled order or booking.
5. How to request a cancellation
To request a cancellation, please email info@thepropcentral.com with:
- Your name
- Order or invoice number
- Items or rental you wish to cancel
- Reason for cancellation
We will confirm by email whether the cancellation is possible and what refund, if any, applies.
