The Prop Central – Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy describes how we handle shipping and delivery of props purchased from thepropcentral.com.
1. Shipping areas
The Prop Central ships props from our warehouses to customers in Canada, the United States and other countries worldwide, where feasible. Shipping availability may vary depending on the product size, weight and destination.
If your country is not available at checkout, please contact us at info@thepropcentral.com for a custom shipping quote.
2. Currency & prices
- All prices on our website are in Canadian dollars (CAD), unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Shipping costs, taxes and duties are not included in the product price and are shown or quoted separately.
3. Processing & dispatch times
- For items that are in stock, we aim to dispatch orders within a short period after receiving payment (often within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays).
- For backordered or made-to-order props, lead times are longer. Approximate delivery times will be communicated in your quote or order confirmation.
- During busy periods or in case of large/custom shipments, processing and shipping may take longer.
4. Shipping methods & carriers
We use reputable freight and parcel carriers. The specific carrier, service level and delivery time depend on:
- The size, weight and fragility of the props;
- Your shipping address;
- Whether the shipment is domestic or international.
When available, we will provide a tracking number so you can follow your shipment.
5. Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on:
- Destination country and region;
- Total weight and dimensions of the shipment;
- Type of delivery (standard, freight, special handling).
For large or multiple items, or for international container shipments, we may provide a separate custom shipping quote.
6. Customs, duties & taxes
For shipments outside Canada:
- You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by your country’s customs or tax authorities.
- These charges are not included in our prices or shipping costs and must be paid by you to the relevant authorities or carrier.
Within Canada, applicable sales taxes (such as GST/HST/QST) will be calculated and shown at checkout, where required by law.
7. Delivery
- Delivery is made to the shipping address you provide during checkout or in your quote. Please ensure the address is complete and accurate.
- Large props may require special access (for example wide doors, loading docks or forklift). It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery location is accessible.
- If a delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address information or lack of access, additional delivery or storage fees may apply.
8. Damage in transit
We take care to pack our props properly, but damage can occasionally occur during transit:
- Please check your shipment upon delivery.
- If there is visible damage to the packaging or product, note this with the driver if possible and take clear photos.
- Contact us within 5 business days with your order number and photos so we can file a claim and arrange a solution (repair, replacement, partial refund/credit), in line with our Refund Policy.
9. Lost shipments
If your shipment appears to be lost:
- Contact us with your order number and tracking information.
- We will investigate with the carrier and, where the shipment is confirmed lost, work with you on a suitable solution (replacement or refund, where feasible).
